The society said its Holy Quran and Seerah Nabawi department has organized the programs, KUNA reported.

Jaza al-Suwailah, an official with the department, described it as a major achievement, saying it has been made in line with the Kuwaiti government’s support for charity organizations.

He noted that 3650 boys and girls have attended the daily Quranic programs held by the society and 950 others have taken the courses held in the evenings.

According to al-Suwailah, 84 students have managed to do Khatm Quran (read from the beginning to the end of the Quran) during the educational sessions.

He said the latest teaching methods have been used in the courses with the aim of enhancing the students’ Quranic skills.

Kuwait is a Muslim-majority Arab country in the Persian Gulf region where Quranic activities are very common.
